Team Leaders’ Regional
Thanks to everyone who made it along to our night for team leaders on Friday. I thought it was an excellent time and was so grateful to everyone for making it – particularly those who travelled a way to get there.
I think we all sensed that there is indeed a hunger to get something moving towards intentionally networking and resourcing worship leaders and teams across the ‘north’ (whatever that means!) and we’re going to get on the case to put something together for early in the new year.
Our conversation on Friday gave us plenty of steers towards what we’d need to cover on those days, but let’s keep the discussion going here.
We will also look at another gathering for team leaders. I think a meal together worked rather well, don’t you?
In the meantime, could I ask that you think about helping spread the word about WN to other leaders of worship teams around the place. It was great to get so many in the room on Friday but I’m aware that there must be lots more of us out there. Can you pass on names and email addresses to me, or let them know about this new site and they can contact me this way.

Thanks for organising it Alistair. It was a great evening. Because I don't (didn't) know any other worship team leaders there were things that were raised to the surface that hadn't done before - the conversations prompted this. In fact, talking to God on the way home about how I felt, what had been said, etc., by the time I got home I believe God had given me a completely different attitude to leading.
